Aloha and Welcome
Helicopters
The Honolulu Fire Department holds weekly, 1-2 hours per day of helicopter training sessions about 800 meters from the Pacific Palisades community on the north-facing side. There is a clearing on the conservation land known as Waiawa ridge that is used for the HFD training exercises.
Since these helicopter exercises are so close to our community, if the helicopter noise is bothersome or causing you any distress, there are ways to address it by emailing, calling or writing to the Honolulu Department of Customer Services.
